Projects, Events, Research, and Writings
I have been persistent on the trail of Human-centred Environments that promote wellbeing through a psychological and neuroscientific understanding of Architectural theory, design, and experience. My core strength comes from a combustion of cross-disciplinary epiphanies into focused research questions, holistic architectural ideas, executable design strategies, and didactic programmes.
When it comes to practice in Architecture, I received professional training at Inform Architects, Bangalore under the tutelage of Ar. Kiran Venkatesh during Fall’16. Thereafter, I joined Chandavarkar and Thacker Architects as an Intern in January 2017 and from June’17 to January’18, I worked there as an Architect and Researcher directly under Ar. Prem Chandavarkar. In April 2018, I was introduced to Music, Culture, and Cognition Lab at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Bangalore as a Research Intern. After a year of research experience in ethnography, psycho-behavioural experiments, and cultural studies, I worked as a Research Consultant with the Regional Director of IGNCA, Bangalore, Dr. Deepti Navaratna on Music and Space perception centric research projects and Creative Arts’ outreach programs until July, 2019. Some of my current work - Master's Thesis at Goldsmiths University of London, Hume - Human Metrics Lab, Conscious Bengaluru
